How do I transfer my domain/s to BigRock?

Transferring your domain from one registrar to another is not as tough as it looks. And transferring it to BigRock is even easier 😉

Before you can authorize a domain name transfer from another registrar to us, you must prepare the domain name and purchase the transfer.

ICANN regulations prohibit transferring domain names registered or previously transferred in the last 60 days.

Read on to know how to transfer your domain to us 🙂

Step 1

In order to transfer your domain from your existing Domain Registrar to BigRock, you need to initiate the Domain Transfer from our website. Go to > Select ‘Get a Domain’ Tab > Click on Domain Transfer.

Step 2

Enter your domain name > Select the extension from the drop-down menu > Click on Transfer.

Step 3

Use the Create an Account form to create an account with BigRock and (or) Login with your existing BigRock account.

Step 4

Edit the Contact Information for the domain (if required) > Click on Continue.

Step 5

Proceed with the Payment.

Step 6

Once you have made the payment for the Domain Transfer, you will receive an email on the Admin Email Contact of your domain.

The email will contain a link to approve the domain transfer. Once you click on the link provided, you will need to enter the EPP Auth. code for your domain. To get the EPP Auth. code for your domain, you may need to contact your Domain Registrar.

Once you enter the correct EPP Auth. code of your domain, you will need to wait for 5 days for the Domain Transfer process to complete.

Please note that these days are provided to your Domain Registrar to approve the Domain Transfer request. If they do not approve the Transfer request, the domain get transferred automatically post the 5th day.

You also need to ensure that your domain is not Privacy Protected from WHOIS sites and locked by the Existing Registrars before you initiate the transfer request.

We’ve also provided details on how to transfer your domain from other registrars. Check out this link for more information –

It’s pretty easy to transfer in your domain name. Follow the above mentioned steps and you won’t have an issue. And if you do face any problem, get in touch with us anytime 🙂

    Hi Puneet,
Your domain is currently in the Transfer Period. You will get a mail from your previous registrar asking you to confirm your transfer to BigRock. Once that is done, it will take another 5 days before your domain gets transferred to us. Please get in touch with our support team if you require any further help.
